Don't forget to check Suspension Base Suppliers & Notes for all possible sources.
I'm passing this news along although I haven't confirmed that it's a suspension base for nail polish. The Conservatorie has this item listed under "Raw Ingredients", doesn't specify that it is for nail polish suspension and I don't see any of the traditional suspension agents in the ingredients but I'll post it just the same. And no, before anyone asks, I haven't bothered to contact the company to enquire for further details. BTW, the price is $110.00.

An anonymous reader left this message on a previous entry about suspension base, "If you want to get together and do a group buy, The Conservatorie is bringing it in and you can buy a gallon." Check the link they left here.

Glad to hear this. Hope this allows more public (small-scale) access, which I see as the REAL problem.
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that it's for glitter suspension. I've been in contact with the company since early last week and purchased two gallons for myself. I don't know what the quality's like since I've been using TKB, but I guess I'll know soon!
ReplyDeleteI've also been told that Diamond Cosmetics is selling 30-gallon drums or something, and they expect theirs to ship at the end of May. Some other frankeners I know of have been going in on a group buy for that.
Nailite is also apparently expecting a shipment of their base soon, but other than that I have no info on them. :/
DeleteI contacted them about the suspension base and this is what they said:
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking your time to contact us. Our suspension base will suspend the heaviest glitters. You are able to purchase the clear suspension base at this time to guarantee priority when the shipment is available. Currently the cost of the suspension base will not change at this time. We hope this information has helped.
Seems promising!
Hi Bitter-nice to see Nailite is "open" to selling bases-I had suspected as they offer manufacturing. I live within a couple of hours of their Factory-I'll have to check into this. And thanks for listing Conservatorie as another Source.
ReplyDeleteHi! I emailed you a week or so ago about something I think you may be interested in. I have a new source for solvent resistant glitters for you! The email will be coming from Glitter Unique
ReplyDeleteI can't find that email anywhere but I did a search for Glitter Unique and believe I found the site you mentioned.
DeleteWeird. I will send you another one from my account. Look for an email from me(Nicole). Sorry to do this through here, but I think you might like this!
